ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS DISTRIBUTION PARTNERSHIP SERVING CANADA

Hauppauge, NY, and Mississauga, ON, Canada, August 26, 2008 -- Jaco Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: JACO), a global distributor and integrator of electronic components and customized flat panel display solutions (FPD), and provider of value-added logistics services, today announced a new electronic component distribution partnership agreement with Scientific Devices Inc. to jointly serve all of Canada, with the exception of the Province of British Columbia.
