As one of Canada's first independent distributor's founded in 1990 by Tony Scavetta, Scientific Devices was established to fill a void in the electronics industry allowing customer's an alternative to traditional supply chain. With the ability to source products worldwide, customers have turned to SDI as a key partner in their supply chain requirements.

In the early years, SDI primarily serviced companies in Canada and the United States. These days, we are recognized globally as a key supplier and partner. Working with major OEM's globally, SDI has developed a reputation for service and reliability.

In spite of our growth and success over the years, SDI has strived to maintain a small and family like atmosphere allowing us to provide the personal attention that our customer's require. Based out of Toronto, Canada, our team is comprised of 5 individuals who work closely together to ensure that our customer's experience from the quoting process to the shipping of product is smooth and seamless.
